Post-Conference Tour
We will start this tour in a wintery spirit, visiting Mavrovo’s whiteness. It’s
January after all.
Mavrovo is located in the Northwest of Macedonia on the most interesting mountain
Bistra (2163 m above sea level). There is a National Park and Macedonia’s most popular
ski resort. You should not miss visiting this beauty.
After breathing the fresh mountain air we will go enjoy Ohrids unique architecture.
Ohrid is a city on the eastern shore of Lake Ohrid. Ohrid is notable for having
once had 365 churches, one for each day of the year and has been referred to as
a "Jerusalem". The city is rich in picturesque houses and monuments. Ohrid’s major
attractions are all located within a remarkably concentrated and eminently walkable
area, among and above the narrow streets of the Old Town lined with restaurants
and cafés.
After sightseeing Ohrid and having lunch there we will continue to another interesting
Macedonian city.
Bitola is a city in the southwestern part of the Republic of Macedonia The city
is an administrative, cultural, industrial, commercial, and educational centre.
It is located in the southern part of the Pelagonia valley, surrounded by the Baba
and Nidze mountains.
The many cafés lining the city’s pedestrian main street (the Shirok Sokak) provide
endless see-and-be-seen opportunities for Bitola’s fashionable youth. It’s also
famous for its night life.
The FEE for the Post-Conference Tour is 200 EUR
