Visa information
Holders of a valid passport (or, in the case of EU member countries, a valid ID
card) from the following countries do NOT need a visa to enter Macedonia:
Albania, Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark,
Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland,
Israel, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macao SAR, Malaysia,
Malta, Mexico, Montenegro, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru,
Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden,
Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, Uruguay, USA, Venezuela
Participants from all other countries need to apply for a visa at the nearest Macedonian
embassy.
IMPORTANT:
Individuals possessing a valid multi entry Schengen visa type C (valid for the entire
territory of the Schengen area) may enter and stay in the Republic of Macedonia
up to 15 days without possessing a Macedonian visa. The Schengen visa needs to be
valid at least 5 days longer than the stay in the Republic of Macedonia permitted
on the grounds of holding a Schengen visa.

To apply for the visa you need:
- Passport valid for at least 3 months after your departure date from Macedonia
- Invitation letter from IAESTE Macedonia
- Two passport size photos
- Visa application form
- Confirmation of your return flight reservation
- Travel Insurance
- Other documents might be required in some countries. It's important that you contact
the consulate as soon as possible in order to get information about other required
documents
Please help us to avoid visa problems by applying for the visa well in advance!
You should apply for your visa as soon as possible.
Countries that require visa should confirm their Conference Delegates with the General
Secretary by 1st of November 2011. Immediately after you are approved from the General
Secretary, email us a copy of passport for all conference participants from your
country.
You will receive the invitation letter from IAESTE Macedonia as soon as we get your
copy of passport and you can apply for visa.
