4 weeks since the opening of this SR season, 10 trainees so far.
It has been amazing, exhausting, sleepless, fantastic !
A trainee says: "Skopje- unique because of all the history that is found throughout the modern day city.
Started with Buskerfest - international street performing festival. 25 music and acrobat performances. Value of street, promotion of Macedonian performance. National dances, Skopsko beer, IAESTE - part of it!
Anybody mention Havana? Parties, dancing, live rock music, IAESTE - rocks in there!
Too excited? A weekend in Kriva Palanka solves the "problem". Monastery St Joakim Osogovski, exploring Kuklica, stay in touch with the nature, guys cooking. IAESTE- simply enjoyed it !
Macedonian students going abroad for practical experience. A final gathering needs to be made. IAESTE office, guitar, some caipirinha, good mood, jokes, many photos. IAESTE- that's how we do it!
A trainee says : "Sometimes I feel that IAESTE students here don't realise that we are also working a lot. When you have to get up 07.15 every morning it gets quite exhausting to be up late every night. But I would not like less late activities because they are very fun :D" As long as you are able to get up, go to work, and be efficient there, IAESTE- makes your time complete !
A weekend has arrived. Destination- Ohrid. A town that leaves you breathless.
365 churches. A beatiful lake, although a randomly cloudy and rainy weather. Imposing construction of St. Panteleimon and Kaneo. The old bazaar and the traditional architecture.
A trainee says: "Ohrid is more than wonderfull. I may say, the best few days of my stay here."
Professional momments. Creating a computer model of a new building. Introducing to Macedonian forests. Working in a pharmacy faculty when you are and feel as more than a student . Seems challenging. IAESTE- offers you opportunities !
Sport sport sport! Playing pool and table tennis, the World cup- cant miss a single game, hiking Vodno- tiring and thrilling day, lay down and enjoy the swimming pool.IAESTE- keeps you fit !
The vivd Matka landscape, a ride in a boat through the river Treska, the inner look of the Vrelo cave. IAESTE- can't miss anything.
