Job Raising Campaign

Job Raising Campaign is one of the most important activities that IAESTE Macedonia organizes throughout the year. This campaign comprises provision of practices in our companies and institutions for foreign students from technical faculties.

During the Annual Conference held in January, the collected practices are exchanged with other countries on the principle “one for one”. In other words, how many practices we will be able to provide in our companies for foreign students, as many Macedonian students will have the opportunity to perform professional experience abroad.

During job raising campaign, members of IAESTE Macedonia contact the potential employers in our country and inform them about the way our organization functions. If the employer agrees to cooperate with us, an official agreement is signed for the practical training that foreign students will perform in the course of next year. The agreement contains all the necessary information and details about the student's profile and description of practice that should be performed.

The average number of provided practices in the past few years is 60. The general impression is that the interest of employers to be part of our exchange program is constantly growing. Knowing that they help Macedonian students to go on practical training abroad, employers have accepted our request and are satisfied with our cooperation. We hope that in the upcoming years the number of interested employers will be even greater, thus the number of Macedonian students who will perform practice somewhere abroad will increase as well.
