Formed in 1948, under the auspices of UNESCO, IAESTE (International Association
for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) has allowed more than 300
000 students to gain their first international professional experience in the domain
of their studies in more then 100 000 companies and institutions and in more than
1000 universities. The program of IAESTE Macedonia as full member of this international
student organization is based on a simple principle: the international exchange
of students. Macedonian company receives a foreign trainee; a Macedonian student
completes an internship abroad in more than 80 countries in the world. Let us help

Procedure
IAESTE offers you easy procedure for accepting a foreign trainee. Taking into consideration
the network of more than 80 international partners in the same number of countries
in the world, we are putting a lot of effort to provide highly qualified student
according to your requirements. The procedure is explained in few steps:
1. The form for the work offer is filled in. Here you describe the work that the
student would do and you list all the qualifications that are necessary for the
student to posses. It is advisable to hand over the offer until 31st December.
2. In January, IAESTE Macedonia exchanges your offer, as well as all the others
with appropriate IAESTE national committee. The offers are exchanged one for one.
In addition, there is a possibility for a Macedonian student to go abroad for internship.
3. IAESTE chooses a suitable candidate for your offer through two filters. Firstly,
the sending IAESTE committee looks through the nomination documents to check if
everything is all right. Later the receiving IAESTE committee checks if the student
is in accordance with your requests.
4. After you will reply positively, IAESTE Macedonia takes care of all the necessary
documentation and stay of the student in Macedonia including providing accommodation,
waiting at arrival, taking to work the first day, social activities, etc.
The more detailed the description of the offer is, the easier it is to find an appropriate

Employer's obligations
- Detailed filling in the form for the work offer
- Providing conditions for work for the trainee when he/she will arrive
- Monthly income for the student that shouldn’t be less than 13000 denars which should
cover the basic expenses of life in our country

Reserved offer
Reserved offer is a work placement that is not involved in the exchange program
of IAESTE. It is an opportunity for your company to accept a foreign student who
you already have directly chosen and we only take care of the administration (more information soon).
